The Anna Centenary Library, Chennai, is a Government sponsored Institutional Complex housing a Public Library, a multipurpose state of the art Auditorium seating 1200, an open air Amphitheater seating 800, a Food court and other amenities covering 0.4million sq. ft of built up area. The library has a capacity to house 1.2 million books.

High performance glazing from Saint-Gobain Glass balances daylight transmission with heat penetration. The building is designed in such a way that the reading area receives good daylight. The seven-storey atrium allows in abundant natural light.
